Putterhead Doubles August 13, 14, & 15 2010
Corona Light Wide Open Tour Stop
Started in the 1994, Putterhead remained a small, locally run tournament for many years.  In 2003, the Breckenridge Parks and Recreation Department asked Volleyball Of The Rockies, a Denver Volleyball League Organizer to assist with the event.  The tournament has grown from 55 teams into one of Colorado's largest volleyball events with 13 different divisions and over 360 teams in attendance. Each year we have music all day at Carter Park and don't forget our killer player parties at our sponsor bars, Kenosha Steakhouse (Friday Night) and Napper Tandy's (Saturday Night).  Saturday night will have the band Solar from 9:30pm-10:45pm with the Corona Wide Open Tour DJ 10:45pm until close.  Don't forget that each player gets a Putterhead T-shirt with our trademark "Volley Critters". Just 80 minutes from Denver, the summer music series, and super affordable lodging options make Putterhead the perfect choice to escape the heat for a weekend and sneak up to the mountains. We look forward to seeing you in Breckenridge for another great weekend of volleyball with our friends!
New this year we are pleased to partner with the Corona Light Wide Open Tour and be one of their main stops.  Winner's of all men's and women's divisions (Dino, Open, A, BB, B) will receive a free trip to Manhattan Beach CA, September 24-26 to represent CO in the US Open of Beach Volleyball.
